TOWN, enabling developer for Marmalade Lane Cohousing Community in Cambridge, on behalf of a local landowner, is looking into the feasibility of a developing a site for a multi-generational cohousing community on a site in Hemel Hempstead. There is currently no cohousing group in Hemel Hempstead so we are seeking to make contact with people who might be interested in such a community. The wider development would also include opportunities for self and custom-build.
This potential development is in response to the new innovative vision of Hemel Garden Communities based around four pillars; A Green Network, A Self-Sustaining Economy, Integrated Neighbourhoods, and Engaged Communities. Link to vision document here
