‘Building our Rainbow – practical inspiration for later life’ takes place in Selly Oak on Monday 27 June 2016
The day is devoted to helping people ageing without children and those that work with them to think about the kind of later life they want and how to plan for it.
Anna Kear, Executive Director of UCKN, will be speaking at the conference along with other expert speakers from the Centre for Ageing Better, Connecting Generations, The Shaftsbury Society, Anchor Housing, United for All Ages, Methodist HA and Mcclure Solicitors about different aspects of planning for later life. There will also be breakout sessions, group discussions and tools to help make planning easier.
On the Sunday night there will be a pre conference dinner for people staying the night before where you can meet and socialise with other people ageing without children.
