Created and run by its members for many years, we are a cohousing community that comprises of 7 households who are purchasing a farm with 8 self-contained, private homes that share some facilities, outdoor and a community space set in 19 acres of the South Downs National Park.
We manage the community, tend to our relationships and each other, and the land, through regular workdays, weekly meal sharing and seasonal celebrations.
Forming and maintaining relationships with the wider local community as well as the global cohousing community is an important part of our vision.
We will be constituted as a Co0perative Society with the aim to transition to the Mutual Home Owership Model (MHOs) in the future. This aims to help creates affordable housing according to wages earned.
