Bridge Farm (Bristol) is a four acre site in central Bristol, currently owned by the Ashley Vale Action Group who formed 20 years ago to develop the well-known self-build project The Yard in nearby St. Werburghs. We are in the process of transferring ownership of the farm to a CLT that will preserve the farm’s heritage and extensive green space to provide community access to growing areas and other land-based activities.
Part of the site will be given over to a cohousing scheme of twelve modest and efficient homes, and residents will play their part in managing the farm site for the future.
Update – April 2023:
Our planning application is in, and we’re now looking to expand the group with potential residents who are able to help with all the tasks we’ll need to tackle before we can start building.
