We are pleased to advise that our rented flat will be available shortly for a new tenant. Therefore, we are now able to progress on applications from people interested in both renting the flat and becoming full participating members of our community. We would ask you to please note the following:
· As the flat is small, the maximum number of tenants is 2 – either a single person, 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child. We would prefer the child was not under 5. The reason for this is simply because the building is 200 years old and has had previous issues with damp. We have put solutions in place but cannot guarantee the future.
· Preference will be given to applicants who would not be able to purchase Loanstock and renting would be their only opportunity to join our community. For example, we would not accept an applicant who already owned a property elsewhere.
· The monthly rent (excluding utilities) will be £450, however if you are on full benefits, please advise so that we can accommodate this.
· The lease will be the Welsh Model Written Statement Of A Periodic Standard Occupation Contract plus Dol Llys Hall Secondary Rules.
Finally, please be aware that there is a 4 stage application process to join our community so we can all get to know each other.
