Trelay Co-Housing Community

About

Trelay Cohousing is a vibrant community of 22 adults and 10 children, established in 2007 at Trelay Farm.

We have opportunities for new members to join Trelay: a two-bedroom flat, a two-and-a-half bedroom house and a three-bedroom cabin are available now. Contact us for more information about the joining process.

As of August 2024, we also have an opportunity for a short term stay in our community as a guest, if you feel you want to become a member of Trelay you may be invited to start the joining process.

  • The farm is a 32-acre smallholding near Bude in North Cornwall in the United Kingdom, two miles from the Atlantic Ocean.
  • We look after animals such as cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and bees.
  • We tend to growing projects, including an extensive veg patch, greenhouses, a polytunnel, and a forest garden
  • We help each other to grow, listen and connect.
  • The community aims to provide a rewarding and satisfying lifestyle to each of its members. We follow our passions and blur the boundaries between work and fun. We are learning to live together, co-sufficiently, and in harmony with nature and each other
  • We live in various buildings, including retrofitted farm buildings and new structures

Please contact us at interest@trelay.org to register your interest.  We hold monthly Open Door Zoom meetings where you can hear from current members and ask questions.  Our Next Interest Weekend date to be announced soon, this is an opportunity to experience community life with head, hands and heart.  See our website https://www.trelay.org/ for more information
