Cohousing West Midlands (CoHoWM) is a Mutual Home Ownership Society and we need new members. If you like the idea of creating a great neighbourhood, having your own front door and private space and also enjoying shared space and resources, please get in touch. We need members, friends and business partners. We need you!
We plan to build an intergenerational, friendly and sustainable community of 16-20 homes filled with a wide range of people reflecting the wonderful diversity of the West Midlands and hope to have some social rent properties. We aim to include some shared facilities such as a common house where people can choose to cook and eat together and to have allotments and play areas.
We are seeking a site that is close to public transport, schools, leisure and health facilities and has green spaces nearby. We will reserve some homes for people living in the eventual site locality who will become members of CoHoWM and will also consult people living in the area about ways they might benefit from the project.
