Angel Yard is an exciting new-build cohousing scheme in central Norwich. With building work due to start on site in November 2026 the projected move-in date is Spring 2028. We are inviting new members to meet us and to reserve the last few available 2-bedroom flats and 3-bedroom town houses off-plan. Our site is a short walk north of the historic city centre – recently named the Sunday Times’ Best Place to Live in the UK. The area is within the medieval city walls and close to the riverside walk. We will have 34 homes, a mixture of flats and houses, along with a common house complete with laundry, workshop and guest rooms, built around three sides of a shared garden space. For those who want a bit more greenery, we have a group of allotments and a forest garden a short cycle ride away that is already producing fruit and veg. We will be running a car pool and there will be lots of space for storing and charging elecrtic and manual bikes.
We have a lively intergenerational group of members who are working hard to bring this environmentally sustainable community to life, but are still welcoming new joiners. This will give you a chance to learn more, meet existing members and ask questions before progressing to the next stage of reserving a specific property (for £1500 reservation fee) and going through the Promise to Purchase process.
