Heartward Community Co-Housing

About

Created and run by its members for many years, we are a cohousing community that comprises of 7 households who, very shortly, in December 2024 will  purchase 8 self-contained, private homes that share some facilities, outdoor and a community space set in 19 acres of the South Downs National Park.

We have been and will come together to manage the community, and tend to our relationships and each other, and the land, through regular workdays, weekly meal sharing and seasonal celebrations.

Forming and maintaining relationships with the wider local community as well as the global cohousing community is an important part of our vision.

We will be constituted as a Mutual Home Ownership Society that helps creates affordable housing according to wages earned.
