SOLCA

SOLCA (South Leicester CoHousing Association) was started early in 2008 by a group of friends living near to each other south of Victoria Park in Leicester. They have had regular meetings since. In November they held their first AGM and adopted a constitution that defines their membership and aims.

"To explore for our members the concept and practical possibility of co-housing in the south of Leicester with an emphasis on co-housing for older people and maximum energy saving while continuing to contribute to our local community."

They currently have 15 members and would welcome interested parties to make contact with the current President, Julian Pollock.
