Locality: Early Stage Support Programme

Funded by the Nationwide Foundation, this is a two year programme, starting in 2016, to help community groups in England in the critical early stages of their project. It provides help with everything from choosing a legal structure to funding guidance.

Successful groups will receive one-to-one assistance from experienced sector professionals. There is also a small grant pot available to help with early stage costs.

Joined by Roz Dunwell and Jane Stott from the Threshold Centre in Dorset, we looked in more detail at what cohousing is all about, how Threshold began, how to recruit new members and we also touched on how to deal with issues in the community once you’re up and running.

We hope you enjoy the webinar, and please let us know if you have any suggestions of topics for future webinars.
